  3. and (if your Merchant Provider requires) a fully tested and approved shopping environment that passes regularily performed PCI Compliance Scans.
  4. You will also need Merchant Account - for this last item we recommend you speak with your bank. Typically, banks can provide very competitve merchant services, and since you already have a relationship with them they're usually eager to help.

The OWH Ecommerce COMPLETE Plan includes a full featured, one-click-installed shopping cart, a secure SSL certificate, and our PCI Compliance Scanning Service for initial and then quarterly security scans. Getting started just takes 3 steps:


 Order the OWH Ecommerce COMPLETE Plan. Once your account has been set up, we'll assign a Dedicated IP address to the account.

Select and install your shopping cart. We recommend one of these three "one click install" shopping carts (each of these can be installed from your account control panel under the "Softaculous" button):

When your cart is up and running, we'll install your RapidSSL secure certificate - https://YOURDOMAINNAME.COM. Please be sure to note the URL format that your shopping cart requires - some need "WWW.yourdomainname.com", and some are just "yourdomainname.com". The certificate must match the URL needed.

Payment Card Industry (PCI) Compliance Scanning. We'll do an initial scan of your completed site and all files for PCI vulnerability, and unlimited free support in tuning your account until it passes the compliance tests. We use a certified Qualified Security Assessor (QSA), so once you have passed your scans, we will provide you with a PCI Compliance Report for your merchant requirement. Quarterly scans will be run following the initial scan to monitor compliance.

PCI Compliance Scanning - $24.95/month.

According to the PCI Security Standards Council, "ANY web site that accepts, processes, or stores credit card information MUST be PCI compliant. Failure to comply with the PCI standards may result in fines, restrictions or expulsion from card acceptance programs," to verify your requirements you should check with your merchant provider. If they require you to meet them then one of the items you'll need is to have your shopping and web environment pass security scans on a regular basis. We can help! If purchased separately, the OWH PCI Compliance Scanning service is $24.95/month.

SSL Secure Certificate - $29.95/year.

SSL secure certificates provide up to 256-bit encryption for the protection of transmitted data. You can order RapidSSL certificate by going to your Client Portal > My Products & Services > Product Details and find "Account Addons". If purchased separately, a RapidSSL cert is $29.95/year.

Dedicated IP - $24.00/year.

A dedicated IP address provides a single unique identifier for your account, and is required for SSL and PCI compliance. You can order a dedicated IP separately by going to your Client Portal > My Products & Services > Product Details and find "Account Addons". If purchased separately, a dedicated IP is $24.00/year.
